ABOUT IAN BARNESIan Barnes is a seasoned drummer and lyricist who resides just outside of Toronto, Canada. Do you remember KISS DESTROYER & AEROSMITH ROCKS 8-Track tapes? Well Ian does! This was what he learned to play his first 4/4 drum beats to at 13 years old in 1976. Ian's drumming style is known as cross between John Bonham, Joey Kramer, and Charlie Watts. With feel, dynamics, precision, incredible meter, and an in-the-pocket rock sound like no other, musicians have praised the experience of playing with Ian.Ian does still play the drums when called upon to jam or record in the studio, however Warped Moogie is a separate music project in which he does NOT lend his grooves to. Ian uses "Neural Synthesis" as his all-encompassing instrument for this project, however he writes all the lyrics, directs the musical vision, publishes, produces, separates the tracks, and remasters every track to craft the final sound.While Ian may not be behind the drum kit on these tracks, five decades of musical knowledge drives every creative decision, and you can hear it.
